Pop-Up Supply Drop: Anderson & Mahone Camps
July 29, 2026
This week our team was out between the Anderson and Mahone camps for another Pop-Up Supply Drop, and we got to connect with about 45 members of our community.
Numbers like that can look like just a headcount on a page. But every one of those 45 people is someone we know by name, someone with a story, someone who trusted us enough to walk up and say hello. That trust doesn't happen overnight — it's built one drop at a time, one conversation at a time, over months and years of just showing up.
That's the heart of what MPRCC does. We're not handing things out from behind a table and driving away. We're peers. We've been where a lot of our community members are right now, and we know that a pop-up isn't just about supplies — it's about somebody looking you in the eye and treating you like you matter. Sometimes the conversation that happens while someone digs through a box of socks is just as important as the socks themselves.
None of this happens without people who show up and give their time and resources with no expectation of anything back. Huge thanks to our volunteers Tracey and David, who were out there with us making sure this drop ran smoothly and that everyone who came through was seen and taken care of.
And to every donor who contributes — whether it's a box of supplies, a few dollars, or spreading the word — thank you. You are the reason we can keep doing this work. Every pop-up, every warm handoff, every small moment of dignity we're able to offer someone starts with your generosity.
We'll be back out again soon. If you'd like to volunteer, donate, or just learn more about what we do, reach out to us — we'd love to have you alongside us.
